Chicken Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • mustard or mayo

method

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat. If grilling, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the chicken burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and are cooked through.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet until lightly browned.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each chicken patty on a bun and adding your desired toppings and condiments.
