  • 8 ounces whole-wheat pasta

  • 1 pound Italian turkey sausage, casings removed
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli rabe and blanch for 2 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the broccoli rabe to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain well and coarsely chop.
