Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 biscuits) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 small slices of cheese (cheddar or American)
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Sauce it Up: Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and brown sugar. Heat through and then remove from the heat. Set aside.
  3. Form the Cups: Press each biscuit into the bottom and up the sides of a greased muffin cup, creating a cup-like shape.
  4. Fill ‘Em Up: Spoon the beef mixture into each biscuit cup. Top with a slice of cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake at 400°F until the cups are golden brown, about 14-16 minutes.
  6. Serve: Let them cool slightly before serving. Add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
